Flooring Sample

So last week I popped the stencil onto a piece of cement sheeting for some samples of the flooring for the front entrance.

 

The stencil was so easy to use, and I just cut up an old dense foam pillow to dab on the paint.

As it was just a quick sample I wasn't too precise, but it didn't seem to matter, as the stencil turned out really really well, with no bleeding underneath.

I like the simplicity of this effect, and it also means just stencilling over the existing concrete floor with a white paint.

Now I just have to remove the existing lino and choose an appropriate paint for cement flooring.
